Call for Bids

Blue Ridge Community Action, Inc. (BRCA) is accepting proposals, for its Weatherization Assistance Program servicing homes in Alexander, Burke, Caldwell, Catawba, Gaston, Mecklenburg, Stanly, and Union Counties.

Qualified/licensed Plumbers, Electricians, Contractors, Auditors, Quality Control Inspectors, and HVAC Contractors are welcome to bid.  Services provided by sub-contractors will include but not limited to; installing heating systems, furnishing and installing insulation, installing air sealing measures, performing minor electrical and plumbing repairs, repairing roofs, and assessing or inspecting homes for the Weatherization Assistance Program.
 

Contractors must provide evidence of Whole House Training and/or experience before bids will be accepted. Proof of Worker’s Compensation, Pollution Occurrence, and Automobile Insurances are required, as well as references of construction and/or weatherization experience. All bids are subject to the conditions described in the bid packet.

MINORITIES, WOMEN, VETERANS, DISABLED OWNED BUSINESSES, AND HISTORICALLY UNDERUTILIZED BUSINESSES (HUBS) are encouraged to participate in the process.

Electronic bids are accepted, and all packets must be received by 5:00 on June 14, 2024. Additional bids will be published and/or accepted throughout the year.
